APPARATUS FOR REMOVING PARTICLES IN SCALE BREAKER

PURPOSE: A particle removing apparatus for a scale breaker is provided to allow a worker to effectively remove particles or chips attached to a work roll without entering into equipment. CONSTITUTION: A particle removing apparatus includes a conveying section(10), a lifting table(21) and a grinding section(30). The conveying section(10) includes a rail formed on a rail base(11), which is installed at an outer portion of a moving route of a strip and a conveying chain(13) connected to a rotating shaft of a conveying motor. The lifting table(21) is installed on line with the rail and moved up and down by means of a lifting cylinder(21a). The grinding section(30) has a slide base(32) formed at a center thereof with a cavity(31), a supporting roller(33) making contact with a work roll and rotatably installed in the cavity(31), a screw(35) connected to a rotating shaft of the supporting roller(33), and a grinding stone(36) for grinding a surface of the work roll.
