PURPOSE: A case of a liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce the weight of the case by removing the rest of parts of frames of a top case where a plurality of TCPs are formed, thereby removing the weight of the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: A plastic frame(44) includes a back light unit(40) and a liquid crystal panel(36) accumulated inside, a plurality of frame side walls opposite to sides of the back light unit and the liquid crystal panel, and a plurality of fixing grooves on the frame side walls. A top case(32) includes a plurality of fixing protrusions on a plurality of frames facing the frame side walls to be mounted at the fixing grooves of the plastic frame. A first TCP(Tape Carrier Package) and a second TCP are formed at right and upper frames of the top case. At left and lower frames of the top case, parts between the fixing protrusions are removed. The top case is fixed at the plastic frame to cover a side and an upper edge of the liquid crystal panel.
