PURPOSE: A device of deinterleaving a frequency in digital audio broadcasting is provided to simplify a multiplier's processing requested by modes without using a lookup table memory for generating a frequency deinterleaving address, and to use a clock requested in a DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) system, thereby reducing hardware size. CONSTITUTION: A controller(30) outputs length determining signals and control signals of data stored in a memory according to a mode selection signal. An address generator(31) generates an address according to the mode selection signal, and outputs the address. The first demultiplexer(32) inputs symbol data to determine length of the inputted data according to the control signals, and selectively stores the symbol data in the first(34) or the second memory(35). The second demultiplexer(33) selectively outputs the address to the first(34) or the second memory(35). The first and the second memories(34,35) store the outputted input data, and output data values rearranged by the address. A multiplexer(36) selectively outputs the rearranged data.
