Parquet floor is laid from solid wooden strips with cooperating click-fit grooves and profiles along their long sides. A parquet floor is laid using solid wooden strips which are provided with profiles along their long sides to enable them to be click-fitted together without the use of adhesive or nails. The floor strips have a groove along one length side and a cooperating profile along the other length side.
