The change from one to the other brake system is carried out by a single change lever (2) which is turnable about a two- dimensional joint (5). This is connected to a compensation joint (4) with change bar (1), and is located on the underframe. The change bar is for simultaneous operation of levers (6-9) for different operation of load change box (11), control valve (13) for one brake, and three-way tap (14) for system change. Fixed end-positions of the change lever are limited and secured by the outer contour of an upper slide section part (19) of the carriage. During operation, the slide section part is fixed to the main strut (20) of the underframe.
