Aircraft warning system for terrain collision

The system uses an aerial height finding radar of small heights with frequency modulation for determination of the time remaining to the moment of the collision of the aircraft with the terrain. The switching the signalling system has connected the plotting circuit of Doppler frequency behind the balanced converter of height finding radar. The outgoing voltage of the plotting circuit proportional to the vertical part of the speed is compared in the comparing circuit with the outgoing voltage of the block for measuring of differential frequency. When the pre-determined ratio of these two voltages is reached, the high sign of pre-determined danger time remaining to the moment of the collision is generated.
