PURPOSE: To realize an inter-vehicle communication system having provisions flexibly for change in the arrangement order in a vehicle line or when gathering or separating vehicles. CONSTITUTION: Each vehicle is provided with a 1st communication section 1 having transmission reception functions 1a, 1b to a preceding vehicle with respect to its own vehicle, and a 2nd communication section 2 having transmission reception functions 2a, 2b to a succeeding vehicle with respect to its own vehicle independently. Furthermore, a leadership of a synchronizing signal between vehicles before and after in a vehicle line is given always to either of a preceding vehicle and a succeeding vehicle for the communication between the vehicles. Thus, information is transmitted between the preceding vehicle and a succeeding vehicle in a vehicle line with a unique synchronization system and the transmission of the synchronizing signal between them is expanded over the entire vehicles in the vehicle line. |
