PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an exposure time, to obtain a natural color image, even if the exposure time by a white balance adjustment is shorter than a threshold value. SOLUTION: An electron developing type recording medium is provided with first - third recording regions on which color images of R, G and B are recorded. Exposure is calculated (step 101) to set a stop value and a reference exposure time. R/G signals and B/G signals outputted from a white balance sensor are read (step 102). The reference exposure time is adjusted with the R/G and B/G signals, to obtain the exposure times on the images of R and B (step 103). When the shortest exposure time of the exposure times corresponding to the images of R, G and B is shorter than the threshold value (step 104), a warning sound is outputted as a buzzer (step 106). Further, the stop value is made small by a value corresponding to 0.5 Ev (step 107). The exposure time is newly obtained with the stop value after being made small (step 103). |
