The method and the automated system for its application are highly effective and find application for the production of ecologically clean, high quality meat and liver of geese or ducks of low costs and high yield, with reduced fat content in the meat and having improved structure of the liver cells. The method includes the growing of geese or ducks in a production line cyclic regime, wherein the necessary feed form is multiply regulated, depending on the characteristics of the birds, wherein 60-day or over ducks or geese are subjected to advance mode of feeding, and after the birds become 75-days old, the dieting programme for gizzard-feeding is determined, depending on their type and sex of the birds and the age and weight of the lot, which is set for the automatic system for gizzard-feeding, such as the feeding mess and the doses for gizzard-feeding the birds. 5 claims, 3 figures
