A benzimidazolone derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, oxide or hydrate thereof has the formula (I) wherein: X is N; R1 and R2 are independently H, alkyl or cycloalkyl; R3 and R4 are independently halogen, -NO2, -CN or CF3 and R5 is H. The compounds are useful for treating a disease or disorder responsive to modulation of SKca, IKca and/or BKca channels.
