A magazine for a coiled strip of nails usable in nailing tools having a magazine tray with an inner post extending from the tray, and a nail plate with an outer post extending therefrom. The nail plate and outer post are positioned about the inner post, which has a series of recesses formed between its first and second slot portions and. A pin protruding from the outer post has an enlarged head that fits into a recess in slot and is biased by a compressed spring, thereby holding the nail plate in position. Depressing the pin will unseat the enlarged head and allow the nail plate to be moved to a different position relative to the inner post.
