<p>A valve actuator with an activating pin of a simple construction, has a housing (100) connected to a pressure medium source, a coupling section (110) to receive the valve to be actuated, a cylinder (70) containing a piston and coupled to the activating pin and a conducting channel (71, 72, 73, 74). In the first position the piston (77) is at a first predetermined distance from the first end (92) of the cylinder (70). In the second position the piston (77) is at a second (larger) distance from the first end (92) of the cylinder (70). The channel (71, 72, 73, 74) allows the conduction of gaseous and/or liquid media between the cylinder (70) and the coupling section (110) when the piston is in the first position and inhibits the conduction when the piston is in the second position.</p> |
