APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING COOLING WATER SPRAY PATTERN ON HOT ROLLED ROLL

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring a cooling water spray pattern on a hot rolled roll are provided to improve reliability and to increase productivity by simultaneously measuring a cooling water spray pattern and a flow of cooling water after spray. CONSTITUTION: A cooling water spray pattern measuring apparatus includes a body(10) having a predetermined size. The body(10) has a car frame(12). The car frame(12) has a rectangular shape and is formed at a lower corner part thereof with wheels(14). A plurality of supporting frames(16) is vertically installed on the car frame(12). A cover including a driving side cover(18) and an idling side cover(20) is provided at upper portion of the supporting frames(16). A drum(22) is installed in the body(10). One end of the drum(22) is fixed to the driving side cover(18) and the other end of drum(22) is fixed to the idling side cover(20).
