PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming liquid layer on support roll of hot dip galvanizing pot is provided to prevent molten zinc of strip from adhering to the surface of the support roll installed in the right above the hot dip galvanizing pot of a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for forming liquid layer on support roll of hot dip galvanizing pot comprises wiper pads(18) which are contacted with the surface of the support roll(6) of the hot dip galvanizing pot to form a cooling water layer and formed by cutting artificial leather with good moisture supplying property to pieces having a thin thickness and binding the artificial leather pieces cut to a thin thickness, and in which a water line(14) for supplying cooling water is longitudinally formed; and support plates(19) which are installed at one side of the wiper pads(18) so that the support plates(19) are clamped and assembled by clamping plate(11) and clamping bolt(12) at the opposite side of the wiper pads(18), and at both sides of which water supplies(10) for supplying or discharging cooling water to the water line(14) are formed respectively.
