PURPOSE: A system for personal selective learning using the Internet and a learning method using the same are provided to suggest a learning direction fit to a learning object and a level of a user, and to efficiently improve the learning ability with a sufficient feedback process between a provider and the user through the contents for knowledge transfer learning, simulation learning, and discussion learning. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of user terminals connects to the Internet by equipping with an Internet browser. A subject learning database(32) includes the learning data(32a) subdivided into each subject and content. A user database(31) includes the management data(31a), the learning data(31b), the self-learning data(31c), and the wrong answer data(31d) of each user. A database selection tool updates the user database(31) by selecting the learning subject and the learning level of the user after making the user select a learning target, and a preferred learning direction. A learning information transfer tool offers the information in order to enable the user carry out the learning by offering the multimedia data converted from the learning data. A web server records the information of all learning progresses to the user database(31).
