ANALYSIS METHOD OF CONCENTRATION OF COPPER ION IN COPPER NITRATE SOLUTION

PURPOSE: A method for analyzing the concentration of a copper ion in a copper nitrate solution is provided, to enable the concentration of a copper ion to be analyzed easily on the spot. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of measuring the concentration of a copper ion in a copper nitrate acidic solution, and the total acidity and the free acidity of nitric acid; determining the copper-nitrate complex combination ratio by using the relation represented by (complex combination ratio) = (total acidity - free acidity)/(M.W. of nitric acid) - (M.W. of copper)/(concentration of copper ion); and determining the concentration of a copper ion by using the relation represented by (concentration of copper ion) = (total acidity - free acidity)/(M.W. of nitric acid) x (M.W. of copper)/(complex combination ratio).
