PURPOSE: A method for coating a protective layer of a reverse stacking disk is provided to uniformly form the thickness of the protective layer of the reverse stacking disk by using an extra rotary element. CONSTITUTION: A disk(10) is formed in a layer structure, including a recording layer. A rotary element(20) has a disk mounting surface(21) having a radius larger than a diameter of the disk, and a rotary shaft(22) formed in the center of the disk mounting surface. The disk is mounted at one side of the center of the disk mounting surface. A hardening resin is applied to the center of the disk mounting surface mounted with the disk and the rotary element is rotated. After hardening the hardening resin, the disk is separated from the disk mounting surface.
