ACCELERATED COOLING APPARATUS OF STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: An accelerated cooling apparatus of steel plate is provided to improve tensile strength of the steel plate substantially by using a mixture of water and compressed air as a coolant of the steel plate, thereby inducing sufficient cooling effect of the steel plate. CONSTITUTION: The accelerated cooling apparatus of steel plate comprises a housing(10) for supporting the roller bed(4) so that a heat treated material to be processed(2) is transferred along a roller bed(4); a pair of nozzles(3) vertically symmetrically arranged on one side wall of the housing(10) with the material to be processed(2) being between the pair of nozzles(3) so that the pair of nozzles(3) spray water or air onto the material to be processed; a compressed air supplying air compressor(5) connected to each end part of the nozzles(3); and a water supply part(7) connected to the end part of the nozzles(3) and simultaneously operated along with the air compressor(5) to supply water to the nozzles(3).
