PRODUCTION PROCESS OF CARBON NANOTUBE

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a production process of a carbon nanotube which is based on strong catalyst function of porous iron powder to synthesize the carbon nanotube on the catalyst simply so that it contributes to produce the carbon nanotube massively. CONSTITUTION: In a process to produce the carbon nanotube by chemical plating using the metal catalyst, production process of the carbon nanotube is characterized by allowing carbon source gas to be supplied to catalyst powder(50) and to synthesize the carbon nanotube at 650-1100deg.C on the catalyst powder without a board, with using a porous iron powder or a cementite with less than 1mm in particle diameter and more than 20% in porosity as the catalyst.
