APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTING CENTER OF BACK-UP ROLL

PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically adjusting center of back-up roll is provided to automatically adjust the center of the back-up roll in removing equipment of cold rolling back-up roll chocks. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a back-up roll resting table(11) in which a rectangular groove is formed at both sides of the upper central part of resting round for resting back-up roll, and both side parts of which have an inclination plane of 45 degrees of an angle; a rod(12) which is connected to the lower part of the back-up roll resting table(11), and on one side surface of which a rack pinion gear(13) is formed; a driving motor for driving the back-up roll resting table(11); a slide(23) moved along an inclination plane of the back-up roll resting table(11); a sensor bar housing(20) which is fixed to the upper part of the slide(23), and on which a groove is formed so that shaft(21a) of stopper(22) and sensor bar(21) moved along rectangular groove of the resting round is moved along the groove; a sensor bar(21) on which the shaft(21a) is formed so that the shaft(21a) moves along the groove of the sensor bar housing(20), and which is supported by pressing springs; and proximity sensors(50,50a) for stopping operation of driving motor(13c) by sensing position of the sensor bar(21).
