PURPOSE: A method for converting a transceiver redundancy of a mobile communication system is provided to exclude standby time and response time caused when converting into a redundancy transceiver owing to a failure of a transceiver, thereby supplying a stable service. CONSTITUTION: Many transceivers convert IF signals into RF signals to transmit the RF signals, or convert the RF signals into the IF signals to transmit the IF signals. If one of the transceivers has a failure, a redundancy transceiver is replaced as the transceiver. A base station controller transceives a command signal and a response signal for performing mobile phone registration, control and traffic control assignment, handoff, call setup, and call completion in cells by the transceivers, the redundancy transceiver, and a base station. The base station controller transmits an Ack_Dis signal to all the transceivers to remove a response signal of a transceiver for the command signal, if the transceiver has a failure. A shared control bus consists of a transceiving line for transceiving data between the transceivers and the redundancy transceiver and an Ack_Dis signal line for cutting off the response signal for the command signal.
