PURPOSE: A slider for optical recording is provided to prevent a collision of a disk for optical recording and a head part, and prevent a lubricant layer from being contaminated. CONSTITUTION: Slider member(21) is made out of Al2O3 and TiC. Fine voides are formed between the slider members in a bulk of a slider(20). A liquid lubricant agent(23) flows into the voides by a capillary phenomenon or a vacuum. If a disk(10) for optical recording rotates, the liquid lubricant agent flows out from the voides by a Bernoulli's effect, so that a lubricant layer(24) is formed. If the disk for optical recording stops rotating, the liquid lubricant agent flows into the voides again, and the lubricant layer disappears.
