PURPOSE: A centrifugal pump is provided to prevent fluid from being leaked from a stuffing box by preventing air from penetrating into the stuffing box. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(4) is connected to a pump body(1) through a shaft supporting section(8). A pipe(50) connected to an exhaust pipe(3) is coupled to a stuffing box(9) so as to supply liquid into a grand packing. A bracket is provided to fix the shaft supporting section(8). A first end of a T-branch pipe is coupled to the pump body(1), a second end of the T-branch pipe is coupled to the stuffing box(9), and a third end of the T-branch pipe is coupled to a suction pipe. A cover of an impeller(6) is coupled to the pump body(1) by means of a bolt. A seal pipe(50) is connected to the exhaust pipe(3) and the suction pipe. Liquid is pumped when a motor is driven, so that liquid is introduced into the exhaust pipe(3).
