ALL-MOVING TAIL

摘要

FIELD: construction of lifting surfaces of aircraft and other flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed all-moving tail includes boom of pivot and longitudinal walls supported by ribs. Specific feature of this tail consists in mounting front spar supported by boom of pivot and attachment unit of lifting surface and rear spar pinched at one end on boom of pivot and supported by front spar at other end. Axes of rear spar, boom of pivot and end rib intersect at one point. Boom of pivot consists of two load-bearing bands connected by means of wall; each of them consists of one or several plates. Walls and load-bearing bands are rigidly connected via gaskets with external rings which perform function of seats for bearings securing the boom of pivot to fuselage. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability.
