<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner excellent in low temperature fixability, anti-offsetting property, blocking resistance and grindability, not causing contamination of a photoreceptor and capable of retaining a quantity of electric charges over a prolonged period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the toner, an untransferred toner remaining on an organic photosemiconductor is recovered with a toner recovering device and reused, a bonding resin in the toner is a resin consisting essentially of a crystalline polyester and an amorphous polyester and/or an amorphous polyester polyamide, the crystalline polyester is a resin having 85-150°C softening point obtained by polycondensing alcohol components including ≥80 mol% 2-6C diol and carboxylic acid components including ≥80 mol% fumaric acid, the amorphous polyester and/or the amorphous polyester polyamide is a resin obtained by polycondensing monomers including ≥50 wt.% aromatic compound, the weight ratio of the crystalline polyester to the amorphous polyester and/or the amorphous polyester polyamide is 1:99 to 50:50 and the surface coverage of the toner with an additive is ≥30%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
