PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shutter device whose structure is simple and which is constituted so that load for driving the device may be small and aperture value can be adjusted. SOLUTION: An electromagnet device for a shutter 11 driving to open/close the shutter blades 4 and 5 of a lens barrel 41 and an electromagnet device for restricting an aperture 31 for controlling a shutter aperture are incorporated in this lens shutter device. At the time of photographing a high-luminance subject, the plunger 34 of the device 31 exists at a projecting position and the turning and moving amount of a shutter lever 7 for driving to open/close the shutter blade is restricted by the edge part of the plunger 34, and the shutter blade is turned to a small diaphragm position from a closing position. At the time of photographing a low-luminance subject, the plunger 34 of the device 31 is driven to an attracting position, and the turning of the lever 7 is not restricted and the shutter blade is turned to a fixed diaphragm aperture 3a in a totally opening state from a closing position.
