PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity carrying-out device for an automatic vending machine never causing the selling of two or more commodities by one selling operation by preventing the vertical rocking of a gate lever when returning to a waiting position. SOLUTION: One of a gate lever 23 for holding the bottom commodity and a lock lever 22 for holding the second commodity from the bottom comprises a locking claw 27, and the other comprises a hook groove 28 for engagingly locking the locking part. The locking claw 27 is formed so as to be engagingly locked by the hook groove 28 when the gate lever 23 is rotated upward, and released from the hook groove 28 when the lock lever 22 is recessed from a commodity passage. According to such a structure, since the locking claw 27 is engagingly locked by the hook groove 28 when the gate lever is returned to the waiting position after carrying-out the bottom commodity, the gate lever is never vertically locked.
