PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity ejecting device for automatic vending machine capable of properly ejecting, even in the handling of a fine cylindrical commodity, the cylindrical commodity while regularly keeping the smoothness of operation. SOLUTION: In this commodity discharge device for automatic vending machine, one guide plate 1a comprises first and second locking bodies 3a and 4a directly driven and operated by a drive source 10, and the other guide plate 1b comprises driven-side first and second locking bodies 3b and 3b operated in interlocking with the drive-side locking bodies 3a and 4a, and cylindrical commodities in a discharge passage 2 are discharged one by one by the protruding and recessing operations of the locking bodies 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b. The relation between the length L<SB>1</SB>of the drive-side second locking body 4a and the length L<SB>2</SB>of the driven-side second locking body 4b is set to L<SB>1</SB>>L<SB>2</SB>.
