<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify an optional client what image is currently photographed, to photograph an image with a large amount of information according to an instruction of the client for the client having an access right and to transmit the photographed image to the client. <P>SOLUTION: A camera 100 installed at a remote place stores thumbnail images in a public area of a recording medium in the camera and main images in an exclusive area. When an access request is received from the client 200, whether the client 200 has access right is discriminated. The thumbnail images in the public area are transmitted to the client 200 having no access right. The main images in the exclusive area and VGA (video graphics array) moving images are transmitted to the client 200 having the access right. The camera 100 also performs photographing based on a control signal such as a release signal received from the client 200 having the access right and transmits the main image acquired with the photographing to the client 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
