摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material concentration measuring method which is effective to measure a concentration without diluting a sample liquid, and a material concentration measuring apparatus of a small size and having a sensor of a long life. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is characterized in that the contact time of a sensor and a sample liquid is a constant which is shorter than an output saturation time that defines a period from an instant at which an electric output starts to increase if the sensor comes into contact with the sample liquid to an instant at which the electric output becomes saturated. The substance concentration of the sample liquid is determined from the output obtained by this step. As a result, the sensor is not soiled with the sample liquid. In addition, under the measuring environment having the maximum limit, since an output peak is lower and a time to reach the peak is shorter than when an undiluted liquid batch is used, a linear relationship between an aimed measuring substance concentration and output signal strength can be applied in a widen range.
