PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance in addition to functionality of illuminating a region in a building, in relation to illumination in the building. SOLUTION: This lighting system 10 is used in the building 12. The system is provided with a lighting fixture 14 having at least two lamps 16. The system includes a plate-like body 18 having a plurality of holes 20, and the plurality of holes are so formed to be aligned with respective lamps as to be able to pass the light from the lamps. It is also a panel 11 for the luminaire having at least two lamps and attached in the building. This illumination method is used for illuminating the building and for forming the panel.
