PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image display equipment which automatically corrects deviation of hue of light emitting diodes without needing exclusive equipment. SOLUTION: The image display equipment is provided with a backlighting device 1 having light emitting diodes and an electronic component for holding information showing the deviation of hue of the light emitting diodes; a signal processor 11 which detects the deviation of hue as an electric signal from the electronic component, converts an image signal to red, green and blue image display signals from the detection result, outputs the signals, and controls an output ratio so as to correct the deviation of hue; and an image display part member 15 for displaying the red, green and blue image display signals as an image which are outputted from the signal processor, by applying the backlighting device as a light source.
