PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a person having a little knowledge about a computer to comparatively easily access the Internet by realizing easy modification of setting information stored in a device. SOLUTION: A machine 1 for writing setting writes setting information for setting the operating conditions of a network-connected terminal 3 and a network connection program into a setting storage unit 2 connected via a USB (Universal Serial Bus). When the setting storage unit 2 is connected with the network connection terminal 3 via the USB, the network connection program is loaded on the network connection terminal 3 and executed in accordance with the setting information stored in the setting storage unit 2. The setting information stored in the network connection terminal 3 is not changed and in addition, data handled during execution of the network connection program does not remain in the network connection terminal 3.
