DRIVING CIRCUIT OF FLAT PANEL DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A driving circuit of a flat panel display and a driving method thereof are provided to simplify a structure of the driving circuit and reduce manufacturing costs by reducing the number of field effect transistors in half. CONSTITUTION: A driving circuit includes a scan drive portion(10) for performing a scanning process to receive input image data to each line, a sus-up portion(20) for supplying the power to the scan drive portion, and a sustain portion(30) for inputting pulse waveform to a PDP. An output terminal of the scan drive portion includes plural field effect transistors and a diode element connected to the plural field effect transistors. The sus-up portion includes the first switch for turning on or off the power applied to plural field effect transistors and the diode element. The sustain portion includes the second switch to generates the scanning waveform from the output terminal.
