PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which prevents erroneous detection of noise when correcting gradation for a liquid crystal display and prevents motion unsharpness appropriately, and to provide an image processing program and an information storage medium for the same. SOLUTION: An image processing part is provided with a motion detecting part 20 which grasps the motion of a plurality of predetermined pixels constituting an image, a motion operation part 40 which determines the variance of the motion vector of a target pixel on the basis of information indicating the motion of the target pixel grasped by the motion detecting part 20, a judging part 60 which judges whether the variance determined by the motion arithmetic operation part 40 is a predetermined value or less, and a tone correction part 70 which corrects the gradation by using corrected gradation characteristic information when the judgment processing result is true.
