MODEL EXPERIMENT METHOD FOR TUNNEL PRESSURE WAVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model experiment method for tunnel pressure wave that exactly reproduces the actual tunnel pressure wave phenomenon when a model experiment of tunnel pressure wave is carried out using a simple shape train/tunnel model with a circular cross-section or a rectangular cross-section, etc. SOLUTION: In the model experiment method for tunnel pressure wave for carrying out a model experiment on the pressure wave inside and outside of a tunnel using a train/tunnel model, the effect of the ground at the site is simulated by the model by considering a mirror image of the cross-section of the train/tunnel at the sight and by expressing the whole part including the mirror image part. Also, the running state of the train in the double track tunnel at the site is simulated by the model by making the running position of the train in the cross-section of the tunnel eccentric from the center of the cross-section of the tunnel.
