PURPOSE: A wringer roll pollution preventing apparatus with protection curtain is provided to protect wringer rolls from chrome and chrome vapor scattered onto the wringer rolls when the wringer rolls are moved back from galvanized strip to be in the waiting state. CONSTITUTION: In a wringer roll pollution preventing apparatus comprising wringer rolls(3,3H,3L) for controlling coating amount of post-treatment solution adhered to plating strip as they are being rotated with being pressed to a plating strip, a motor for rotating the wringer rolls(3,3H,3L), and a housing(30) into which the wringer rolls(3,3H,3L) are received, and on which a moving passageway(31) is formed so that the wringer rolls(3,3H,3L) are moved back and forth toward the plating strip, the wringer roll pollution preventing apparatus comprises a curtain(40) for opening or closing the entrance of the moving passageway(31) and the housing(30); and a transfer means connected to the curtain(40) and moved to a certain stroke, wherein the transfer means comprises a rod reciprocated by pneumatic pressure, and a pneumatic cylinder for covering the rod reciprocated by pneumatic pressure, and the curtain(40) is connected to the end part of the rod, and wherein the apparatus further comprises a rope(60) one end of which is connected to the rod, and the other end of which is connected to the curtain(40).
