PURPOSE: An apparatus for separating defective front end part of coil product is provided which not only separates defective front end part closely adhered to the main body of the coil product from the main body easily, but also cuts the front end part having a severe degree of defectiveness in the process of annealing the coil product. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for separating a defective front end part closely adhered to the main body of coil product(34) from the main body in the annealing process, the apparatus comprises a pair of rotatable cradle rollers(1,2) for supporting the lower part of the coil product; a blade(10) oppositely directed to a rotational direction of the coil product rotated on the cradle rollers; and a support for supporting the blade so that the blade is pressed to the outer coiling part of the coil product, the defective front end part reciprocally operated with the blade is separated from the main body of the coil product while the coil product is being rotated as the cradle rollers(1,2) are rotated, wherein a cutting means for cutting the front end part is installed at the rear side of the support in a proceeding direction in which the front end part separated from the main body of the coil product is proceeded, and wherein the cutting means comprises a pair of vertical frames(31), operating support frame and fixed support frame, gas torch(26), and moving means so that strip passing through between the operating support frame and fixed support frame is cut by the gas torch.
