FIELD: radio engineering, devices for detection of amplitude-modulated oscillations, transceiving and measurement equipment. SUBSTANCE: amplitude detector includes quadrature bridge, variable reactive and complex loads, nonlinear element ( for instance, diode or transistor ) and output load. Source of detected signal is connected to first input arm of bridge, reactive load is connected to second input arm of bridge, nonlinear element is linked to first output arm of bridge and complex load is connected to second output arm of bridge.
