CONNECTION SETTING SUPPORT TOOL IN DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor of a creation work of connection related data between devices and to reduce possibilities of erroneous setting about connection relation between the devices in a distributed control system.

SOLUTION: A set of a device, a functional block, an inputted variable and an outputted variable are registered for each device by which data transmission is enabled via a communication medium in a network database DB1. A data registration processing part 17 displays the inputted variable and the outputted variable to be connected to each other on a display part 15 as a list together with the device and the functional block. The set of the inputted variable and the outputted variable set by the data registration processing part 17 is registered in a nonvolatile memory of each device via the communication medium by an outputted data processing part 16 as the connection relation data. In the data registration processing part 17, the inputted variable and the outputted variable to be connected to each other are displayed by arranging them in the same line of the list and data input in each cell of the list by an operation of an operation part 14 is enabled.
