<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the contents of display data displayed on a display unit having a limited number of digits for graphic characters surely graspable, and the display contents easily understandable. <P>SOLUTION: The display data reproduced by a reproducing apparatus 11 are taken into a microcomputer 12 for display control, and when the display data is equal to or more than digits that of a display unit 13, is the data scrolled by the number of predetermined characters. Then, the scroll operation is stopped when a blank between the words of the display data reaches the head of a display, and the operation is repeated after waiting for a predetermined time until the completion of the display of all characters to display.
