PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at downsizing a connector housing in case a lock mechanism of a pushing type lever is installed. SOLUTION: From a state that a follower pin 25 is made to face a cam groove 34, the lever 30 pivotally supported by the male housing 10 is made to be rotated like being pushed out toward the female housing 20 side, thereby the both housings 10, 20 are made to be fitted. A bending deformable lock piece 43 in which a lock groove 44 is cut is installed at an operating part 32 of the lever 30. On the rear brim of the upper face of the female housing 20, a protruding piece 52 to form a hook shape is protruded and installed, and a protruding lock part 51 is formed on this protruding part 52. If the lever 30 is rotated up to the terminal end position, the bent and deformed lock piece 43 is restored from the deformation by climbing over the lock protruding part 51, and the lock protruding part 51 is locked by being fitted into the lock groove 44. The volume increase of the connector housing is not invited by installing the lock piece 43 at the lever 30 side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
