PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduced cost by using a molding die many times compared with an existing manufacturing method using a casting mold. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing for a gradient functional material in which a compositional region displaying insulating property and a compositional region displaying electrical conductivity are continuously present inside one material comprises a first process for preparing a plurality of kinds of mixed powder body in which a mixing ratio of ceramic powder and metal powder is different; a second process for mixing the mixed powder body with a solvent containing a binder in a wet processed and drying the mixture; a third process for filling the powder granulated in the second process in a mold every mixed ratio of the ceramic powder and the metal powder so as to form a plurality of layers, and pressing to obtain a molded body; a fourth process for heating the molded body to remove the organic binder from the molded body; and a fifth process for baking the molded body from which organic binder is removed.
