PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device and an optical head device in which the servo of laser light quantity or an objective lens can be high-reliably performed by enabling high-speed sample/hold (S/H) without being affected by stray capacitance on a data transmission line. SOLUTION: In an optical head 12 for receiving light emitted from a laser diode 13, radiated through an objective lens 15 to an optical disk 11 and reflected by a photodiode 16 and converting the light to an electric signal, S/H circuits 19 and 20 for sampling/holding the electric signal are arranged. The output of each of the S/H circuits 19 and 20 is guided through a cable to a main printed wiring board 18 and applied for signal processing thereon. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
