PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cylinder lock capable of preventing an unlawful unlocking by obstructing destruction such as falling-off of a pivoting output plate by use of a thin plate inserted into a key insertion-hole, a tool or the like. SOLUTION: The cylinder lock 1 includes a closing means 13 and a pivoting output means 32. The closing means 13 is fixed to the rear end 5 of an inside cylinder 3, the other end 12b side of the key insertion-hole 12 is closed, and it is impossible to make relative rotation to the inside cylinder 3. The pivoting output means 32 is so provided to the closing means 13 that it is projected in the direction of key insertion, and pivoting operation force of the inside cylinder 3 is inputted into a lock box by engaging with a pivoting input member of the lock box. Since the other end 12c of the key insertion-hole 12 is closed by the closing means 13, the thin plate and the tool or the like into the key insertion-hole 12 is prevented, it is not arrived in the pivoting output means 32. Accordingly, the pivoting output means 32 is prevented from falling off, and the destruction of the cylinder lock 1 can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
