METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PATTERNED COLD ROLLED AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STRIP

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing patterned cold rolled austenitic stainless strip is provided to prevent quality deterioration and form beautiful patterns on the surface of the cold rolled strip by casting strip under proper roll force by using casting rolls on the surface of which a proper protrusion part for forming certain patterns is formed. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing cold rolled austenitic stainless strip by passing the manufactured strip through cold rolling and annealing processes after manufacturing a strip by casting austenitic stainless steel in twin roll strip casting line, the method for manufacturing patterned cold rolled austenitic stainless strip comprises the processes of casting a strip by having roll separation force (RSF) satisfy the following expression 1 and using casting rolls the surface of which is patterned by a protrusion part having the total area fraction of 20% or less, width of 50 mm or less and height of 50 to 200 micrometers:£Expression 1|(20 kg/mmxarea fraction of the protrusion part+1.5 kg/mm<RSF<100 kg/mmxarea fraction of the protrusion part+1.5 kg/mm); and cold rolling and annealing the strip.
