<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify open/close work through a relatively simple arrangement while making difficult to understand the open/close method of a case cover for a third person. <P>SOLUTION: Enclosure case 2 of the body 1 of an IC card reader comprises a base plate part 5 constituting the bottom plate part and the back part, a front cover 6 constituting the front part, and a case cover 7 constituting the left and right side plate parts and the top plate part. A protrusion 7a engaging with the inner wall face of the front cover 6 is provided at the front end part of the case cover 7. A fixing piece part 7b at the rear end part of the case cover 7 is provided with a fastener 16 fastenable/unfastenable by one touch and the back part of the base plate part 5 is fastened. The case cover 7 is provided with a shaft part 17 which is supported in the elongated hole 18a at a supporting plate part 18. After the fastener 16 is unfastened, the case cover 7 is moved to a disengaging position through rearward sliding and then turned upward before being located at the open position.
