<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an employee or the like of each shop to be connected to and confirm, any time from any place, a database storing information of commercial products sold in each shop. <P>SOLUTION: This information control system has an information control device 1 for storing, in a database, and controlling information relating to commercial products sold in each shop, POS terminal devices 2a-2c for sending the information relating to the commercial products sold in the respective shops to the control device 1 via a public network P, and cellular telephone devices 3a-3c connected to the control device 1 by using radio communication. The telephone devices 3a-3c are connected to the control device 1 accompanied by an identification code, execute search request of the database. The control device 1 searches the database based on the request from the telephone devices 3a-3c and sends back information of the search result allowed to be sent back based on the identification code as information of a type capable of being displayed by the telephone devices 3a-3c.
