PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the contact through a through-hole reliable.

SOLUTION: A first conductive film CL, an insulating film PSV formed to cover the first conductive film and a second conductive CT formed atop the insulating film are formed on the surface on the liquid crystal side of at least one substrate of substrates SUB arranged to face each other across liquid crystals. The second conductive film is partly electrically connected to the first conductive film through the through-hole TH formed at the insulating film and the first conductive is formed with a recessed part in the portion to be connected to the second conductive film.
