PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both-surface display medium which is decreased in the number of mounted driving IC's and then made small-sized and simple. SOLUTION: The display medium has a top-side display panel 6f and a reverse-side display panel 6b. The top-side display panel 6f has signal electrodes 28f and scanning electrodes 30f. The reverse-side display panel 6b has signal electrodes 28b and scanning electrodes 30b. The signal electrodes 28Bb, 28Gf and 28Rf of the top-side display panel 6f and the signal electrodes 28Bb, 28Gb and 28Rb of the reverse-side display panel 6b are electrically connected to signal electrode driving IC's 52B, 52G and 52R respectively.
